This poster shows an image of innocent children playing with toys and a little boy holding up a flag of the United States, showing that these children are from America. However, the symbol of the Nazis overshadows them. In this image, the children look bewildered and somewhat scared because of their solemn expressions. This technique arouses fear, using the children's expressions and the shadow, especially to the targeted audience of parents. The main purpose of this propaganda is to convince parents to buy war bonds to finance military operations in order to fight off the Nazis before they come attack America, or touch America's children. Because war bonds have very low rate of return, people don't necessarily want to invest a large portion of their money in these bonds, but this poster indirectly questions, "is your money more valuable than your children?"
